City and Guilds
www.cityandguilds.com/itq

City & Guilds is the UK’s leading vocational awarding body, offering more than 500 qualifications over 28 industry sectors, through 8500 approved centres in around 100 countries worldwide. Our qualifications, which span nine levels from basic skills to the highest standards of professional achievement, are designed to help people and businesses achieve growth, prosperity and success.

City & Guilds ITQ makes sure that learners are prepared for using IT at work and at home. As all of the e-Quals 07 IT User units are mapped 100% to the equivalent ITQ units, e-Quals helps prepare learners for the qualification.

As well as the quality service given by our External Verifiers, City & Guilds provides extra support to centres with the ITQ Update newsletter, which is often the first place to find information on LSC and e-skills UK ITQ initiatives.

SmartScreen.co.uk, our online learning portal, supports ITQ at all three levels with recommended book lists, hand outs and activities.

The fact that our staff can validate learning into a formal qualification is an added and very worthwhile bonus. (Shaun Devanney, W H Smith & Son (Tools) Ltd)
