2. Good practice in assessing ITQ: lessons learned from the A1 pilot JGA/Tcat |
Since January we have been working with e-skills UK in piloting an online A1 course to train ITQ assessors. Throughout the course we have used a variety of means of e-assessment for the assessor-candidates, e.g. digital video clips for observation, audio files to record professional discussions and an online electronic portfolio for storing evidence. In this workshop we hope to demonstrate how the lessons we have learned in relation to electronic assessment of the A1 can be applied to ITQ assessment. In other words we will show how the appropriate use of technology can contribute to the e-skills UK vision of “simplified and streamlined assessment without loss of quality”. Presentation |
